Chief Saheb - Waris Baig sings Maine Tujhe Khoya to Aesa laga ...

I dun like the songs from the era of this video and especially Waris Baig whos a nasal singer and also woth-mention is the point that despite being a sad song, it was played with fast pitch (increased speed) in the movie.. so am uploading it with Accurate Speed now. Lyrics are somewhat like prose (nasar) or free verse (azad nazm) type but composer has somehow managed them e.g. the line 'mere sang sang badal bhi..hay khul kay aaj roya' is simply 'bay-wazan' and the singer has to hurry in rendering it..same happens near the end of line 'aik woh mausam apnay milan ka..bikhri thi mere shaanay pe khushbu' but its been well-negotiated by the singer :-) Anyways the only charm for me is Madam Neeli whos my in my list of last few fav Pak artists (pasand ki aik wajah ye bhi ho sakti hay kay meray sath khaRi hui Madam Neeli height kay aitbar say ideally match karen gi mujh say :-p Lets watch the song before some bloody fake copyright claimer comes in the way, many around these days to get Paki channels suspended if not closed..through the courtesy of some of the black sheeps among us whom we all know..

Iss film ne Zabardast business kiya tha karachi ke Nishat cinema main. Ye Revival ka zamana tha..Censorship ne bhi kafi azadi de di thi (aur aaj tak di hui hai) par film walon ki aapas ki JAHALAT aur Syed Noor ki monopoly Saima ke saath ne sab kuch barbaad kardiya.

Dear Dr Sahib mera matlab tha k 90's main jab cinema revive hua tha tou Javed Sheikh, Sangeeta, Iqbal Kashmiri, Shamim Ara ne bhi kafi films banain ...kuch chalin aur kuch nahi..Par Syed Noor k pas wo talent tha k logo ne unki fims ko like kiya ( early 90's).

@lovehumanity Phir unki films Saima ki waja se yaksaniyat ka shikar hogaen aur baqi directors main wo(Syed Noor jaisa) talent bhi na tha isliye industry beth gai. But Inshallah agar wo 2012 main baaz na aae tou unki bhi chhutti hojaegi aur hamare cinems main Indian films raaj karengi.. ya ohir aisa talent aajaega ke syed noor sab ko ODD lagne lagega

Akela woh ya Akeli Saima (kisi aur Director kay sath) industry bacha nahi saktay thay.. Lahore mein 2 cinemas mein Reema ki love mein gum sirf 15 din baad cinema walon nay utaar di cuz wahan Salman Khan lo movie (shayad Bodyguard?) lagana thi..
