(Final) Effluent is what they call the treated waste water leaving the outfall into the CT river. It actually is quite clean much like swimming pool water.
I test it in a lab everyday in another place. Storm water is not usually treated and is designed to enter the creeks/ river systems directly.
Great video-looks nice.
Austin,TX has something similar and is very popular.

Well, the video entails moderate but mild significance to the developing city.

I am pretty sure that is a bad term used. It should say Sewer Outflow. I can see dumping the overflows from the sewer system into the river as there really is no other place for it to go but "Sewage" probably would never make its way to the river I hope! I mean EPA took care of all that in the 70's.

be careful not to trip over the druggies and homeless that live down there
I love your videos, WDusty. Have you seen the Urban Land Institute's plans for the riverfront? They're amazing--and I really hope they happen!!! I like the park you detailed, but I've found it very difficult to get to b/c of the highway between it and downtown. Anyway, keep up the good work!!
