@KingRam33 I'm not sure kobe elevated his game ALL THAT MUCH when shaq left. Sure , kobe is great and all but MJ could play with superstar (and still thrive & dominate the team) talent & Kobe seems AT ODDS with it (hence running the better shaq out of town and not winning with Gary and Karl)! I think this is one of the key differences between MJ & Kobe...Kobe didn't play college basketball and his ability to blend (mentally as well as talent-wise) with superstar talent is a hole in his game.
@thenintendogamer why. Just why. Don't try to take his airiness off his throne . Your not gonna succeed. Mj is THE GOAT. Hakeem is a legend too probably the best center ever. This is history. But mjs dominance had no bounds that really set him apart from all others. Honestly as good as Hakeem was you can't say he is better than Jordan. Athletically mj dominates, offensively too. And mj had an insane amount of blocks for a guard. Hakeems stats just don't measure up for us to say he is a better p
People are on her acting like their shocked that Jordan's game got better when he went pro, well duuhh! All the NBA's greats elevated their game when they go pro, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant. If their a Hall Of Famer or a future Hall Of Famer trust me they elevated their game or they wouldn't be in the Hall Of Fame. Kobe elevated his game after Shaq left because he had to.
The talent back in those days was incrediable, we want see it again. The Kobes, Garnetts and the Irvings(boo Duke) we didnt see. Life was great back then, BBall was great back then, college and Pro. Luv watching the ole school games!!!! Just look at the '82 Final Four, how much talent and future HOF's that was there. I know we cant predict the future but these guys u didnt forget even in the pros now a final four(dont get me wrong I luv the MADNESS) but the names r forgotton once its over.
@costcordero2 Sort of - that was the year MJ took off most of the season, and came back very late in the season and wore #45, and was a little rusty as the Bulls lost to the Magic in the playoffs.

@thenintendogamer
And later the Bulls became successful not until Pippen, a small forward, joined the Bulls.

What? Worthy was the one that was the major force in this tournament, not Jordan.
