I am just wondering where the racist types of comments are.

I love Bette Midler. She's so multi talented and funny. This is one of my all time favorite Bette Midler songs.

I love Bette because she was no 70s stick figure and she proudly displayed her body despite what people thought. The song "Friends" written by Buzzy Linhart and Mark "Moogy" Klingman which appeared on her debut album "The Divine Miss M" released in 1972. On that LP she breathes new life into folk singer John Prine's "Hello In There". A stellar debut from a sensational artist. This is a real video gem from your collection. Never lose it and thanks for posting.

The Divine Miss M hit #40 in Billboard, 11-10-73. The Zoomers covered it in the '74-'75 season. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

Let's not forget the songwriter, Mark Klingman, for this wonderful song. He's going through a tough bout with cancer right now. You're prayers will help to heal him.
