2004-2007 WAS..THE..BEST..PERIOD. This 2007-2008 pile of *insert your own word here* had no business ever created. Why didn't Cartoon Network just make a Station called Toonami like how Boomerang shows old cartoons, make a Station that shows Kick ass Anime and Action cartoons all day & night long, uncut and unedited at night....that would have been a Dream that would have made everyone happy. Now everything just sucks, only good things are Adventure Time and Regular show and Sat-nights at 11pm

With all due respect, whether people like it or not this was a part of Toonami's history. While many didn't like the concept, the animation was very high quality and could easily have helped the block stand on its own as a seperate entity. Furthermore, the look wasn't the only thing that sealed the demise; that honor goes to a declining interest in anime and animation, lack of programming, and the network not caring enough about the block to make it successful.
