  • Just so you're aware, Mousey, if you make your own, they still have to be made of a lead-alternative.

  • thanks for the info. it really cleared it all up for me. my main concern was if i would be able to target shoot my 30-06 with my old lead bullets. just purchased one so i need to sight it in. thanks again.

  • Glad it helped. Definitely go practice with those old lead bullets, but make sure to check the zero with the non-lead. They can shoot a whole lot different than your lead ammo.

  • Thanks again elwing, I had 5/6 on the quiz but still informative. I'm using barnes as of now, I might consider using those E-tips if I get chance. Good luck out there!

  • Glad it was helpful... the quiz was mildly tricky, because interpreting this law is a little tricky.

I used the ETips from my 30-06 again this weekend on a nice fallow buck down at Native Hunts. Really impressive performance once again. It's a good bullet.

I'm pretty solidly sold on both the Barnes and the ETip. Haven't had a chance to try the Lapua yet, but that company has a great reputation.

  • I heard Native Hunts outfitters is pretty awesome, from what i heard & seen on youtube that ranch has 100% eurasion razorbacks. I might schedule a hunt next year if time & money would let me as of now its all hard work on public land.

let you know how these E-Tips work, just bought 2 boxes 4 days ago.

  • They have a really good operation down there, no doubt. They do have the pure euros inside the enclosure (1400 acres), or you can hunt ferals on the open ranches outside the fence. Lots of good options, but yeah, the pure euros are a real kick in the britches!
