Yes, at this time of the year in the video it is very dry. you can walk on the harder parts. but the Spots, you do sink in those.

Yes it is one of two lake like it in the world. With a very high mineral content. not your regular table salt at all. walking barefoot across the lake has more than once effected peoples bodies in a good cleansing way. And has made people feel light headed from the absorption. very Healing.

If you go. Be respectful. Don't leave anything. Don't take anything. :)

how can u walk on it w/o sinking? is it open to public and is the lake all salts?

Hi there! I've seen this place last year but it was only from the highway, I'm going back to Osoyoos at the end of July and want to visit this place.. It's on private land, do you happen to know where I could get permission to enter the lake? Thanks and great vid!
