I still don't understand, about the NWOBHM, how a lot of bands were so good, because today we almost don't have such great bands.

Thanks mate, it's good to have positive comments even after all this time!! I'm afraid that all I'm doing bandwise at the moment is an 80's cover band by the name of XYZ. Not too rock and roll!! I'm enjoying it though and on the side I do a liitle teaching and sound/music work for films.
