  • Did I miss part 4, I can't find it.

  • @bkpickell - I have been working on it this past week. There will be a part 4 and 5. It turns out that I can ramble interminably... and, rather than subject you to a 25 minute meander, I am breaking it up into two parts. All I have left is about another minute or two of film to record, and then incorporate it into the final product... HOPEFULLY very soon..

  • If it were me and I was worried about a shock hazard for that relay, I would have put a small double gang junction box in there. There was plenty of room in there to house it, and would have made it completely safe. Just a thought for next time.

  • @bkpickell - Yep... the relay is SO buried that I think it will be ok.. but your point is well made.

  • Why not have the fan run with the compressor?

Is there a reason you want the fan to run continuously?

  • @Brumasterj - The research that I did on the Interwebz suggest that more people like the idea of continuously running the fan, verses just then the compressor is on. If I understand the reasoning, it is that continuously circulating the air keeps the temperatures more consistent top to bottom, as well as helping keep the shanks cool (thus reducing instances of foamy pours).

I am probably going to keep an eye out for a slower, quieter fan.

  • @hammy8503 - Google Auber Instruments. I dont remember specifically which one it is, off the top of my head, but I will get that info. Probably into the final video.

  • What is the Brand/model of the temperature controller. Looking to build ourselves and having a hard time finding a similar model to be inlaid into a collar.

  • @jeffholleyga - Heheh, YEP!! Sorry.. I have it mostly filmed.. just been lazy this Fall/Winter. I'll try to get some progress going this weekend and see if I can get part 4 up by next week.

  • is there a part 4?
