I work with the greatest shipbuilders in the world but I can never show any of the work I do for them, so I wanted to model my own ship. The Space Battleship Yamato was the only choice. I loved the anime series when I was a kid and am looking forward to the movie later this year. ---Please forgive the ending...I had to do it.
I have to say that the battleships of WW2 (even those of the enemies navy) were some of the most beautiful ships on the water. It is sad that such ships have no place any more in the modern navy.

Well modeled, it is exactly like the anime.
The only improvement I would suggest is to make the texture a little less lustrous, it is too reflective. It needs to look like painted metal, at the moment it looks like anodized metal. But this can be done with a simple reskin.

Love the US wave motion gun sound. Much better than the Japanese version.

This is awesome, now if only you could figure out the wave motion technology those mastership builders might back you. lol.

I'm still waiting for one of you computer wizards to produce a "Space Battleship Richelieu" based on her 1943 refit (ie., bristling with 20mm and 40mm AAA) and a "Space Battleship Missouri"... >;D
Very nice work indeed! >;D
