Sorry man, as a metalhead of the first minute (i'm past 40 now), i would say that you've never understood what metal ist....

Metal is a musical artform like Jaz, like Funk, like the what we call classical music now ... it's very broad spectrum and they are very much metal!.

I would not agree on your oppinion there....
