you're lucky she didn't shake very much..the big 1s i get never come all the way out they just shake their head out as if they know to cut the line with their gill plate lol..but last night a straight lunker maybe 42-44 in or more broke me off on the bottom i think, there were alot of rough spots in shallow water, got her 15 feet away, wasn't 2 much pressure on the line but left me with a frayed rough spot on the end where she broke me off..my leader knots & bait knots NEVER break

good question, cuz wire leader is an excellent way to keep them from eating, even in the dirtiest scummiest canal in cape coral you can see the wire shining in the moonlight in 4 feet of water, LMFAO..and its funny as hell when you see clowns with wire attached to a lure, a good tip if you want to take away some of the lure's action..sometimes i feel bad for the fish because some people actually insult the fish by catching it
