SPOILERS for season one in the video and for season two in the description below!
There is a bit of a story behind this one. There were some season 2 spoiler hints released by Mark Gattiss a while ago, and they were: "Adler, Hound, Reichenbach". The list was later updated to: "A Scandal In Belgravia", "The Hounds Of Baskerville", and "The Reichenbach Fall".
It is the last one that concerns this video, because pretty much any fan of Sherlock Holmes knows what that implies.
So I made this video in a fit of emotion, imagining what John's thoughts would be after... it happens. As for the color scheme of the video, lets just say that John dreams in black and white :)
Also, the song makes this video somewhat slashy, but only for the line "lay beside me for a moment that lives on". Though I meant it as based around friendship rather than romance, you can slash if you wanna, I don't mind :) In fact, I rather like the pairing!
Anyway, bring on season two already, BBC! Sheesh...
