  • This band came to my house when I was a little girl in Belfast on the 12th of july when my father was worshipful master of Ballinafeigh Orange lodge 596. I am now 48 yrs old it was a great day!!

  • @shannonmac44 Unofrtunately the TAB are off the road nowadays due to their massive number of loyal elderly members however they are still going strong with functions and competitions.

  • is the band still on the go i dont think i saw them over on the 12th also are the prince charles accordion from govan still goin

  • @uhumagoo1 Thornliebank Accordion Band are no longer on the road however they still practise, majority of their members are now entering their 60s and over which means they aren't able to walk long distances. Also i have no idea about the Prince Charles Acc. Band mate.

  • Whats so sectarian about the sash?

  • @shannonmac44 wifes dasd was in 990 ballynafeigh ormo true blues.

  • @Jordan1873 this guy tombarry is a troll who has nothing better to do with his sad little life, than watch loyalist videos.Hed be better off helping the victims of the magdelene laundries(modern day slavery),victims of sexual child abuse from roman catholic clergy, and last but not least the innocent victims ,catholic and protestant,of the murder campaign conducted by the pira inla etc.

  • @mcgiv1960 Are you talking about Tam in the Thornlie Boys vocal band? He is in it with his brother Davie, If it is them you are talking about they are still going strong, They had a gig last Saturday down the Shawbank Orange Halls, fantastic night !

  • this was my dads favourite band every time he seen an accordion band he would always say no ones as good as the thornliebank, and he was always looking recordings of them, sadly my dad passed away 5 years ago, and about 2 weeks after i seen a recording of thornliebank on ebay, so every time i see the band i think of my dad, he was a member of the gertrude star and im a member of the shankill road defenders

  • i used to march in the band with Devon Street district in July and always remember those bands i have mentioned before but i do remember the size of Glasow Rangers acc then they were huge also remember Pride of the Myle, Mountbatton Memorial,Pride of Pollock girls flute band, Dennistoun Young Protestant Ladies fb and Princess of Wales fb. Good times eh? Does anyone know the guy who takes the videos from petite I used to buy them regularly every year there was some good footage of these bands

  • my uncle David Roach R.I.Pplayed in this band made them wear white caps so they could check for dust before parades
