Spinal: Vomit Roll Procedure.
Video shows how lifeguards should deal with a non-breathing, spinal-injured patient who vomits. Note that the patient has already had the chest strap removed and AED pads attached.
Key Points:
* Head Blocks must be removed prior to roll
* Chest and/or lower straps need not be re-fastened prior to roll
* Breathing reassessment should be done due to "sign of life"

Why remove the head blocks once they are already on? Would it not be better to keep the pt as secure as possible and minimize having to re-do steps?
