Betelehemu - Harlingen High School Men's Choir 1995

KGBT-TV Channel 4 in Harlingen, Texas used to have the area high school choirs perform for their show "Christmas in the Valley."

I'm the short one in front with the rain stick.

Sorry about the poor recording. This was during Christmas 1995, and filmed in Harlingen, Texas in the Rio Grande Valley.

This is good, don't get me wrong, but oh my God, you guys needed to move. This song is energetic, full of joy and love! This performance is really kinda boring...

I'm from GHS in Granville, OH...I don't know if I can get our video, but I think our choir's style gives this song more class...no offense

While technically spot on, it seems to me that this performance just doesn't have much bite to it. Maybe a quicker tempo or better enunciation would have helped. When I hear the piece in my mind as I read through it, I hear tons more energy and bite.
