  • Its TAE KWON DO NOT KARATE!

  • In UFC they don't tend to use ITF because they already use Muay Thai Traning, but here in my country the best MMA fighters are trained with ITF as first martial art and after reaching black belt they practice Muay Thai & Jiu-Jitsu to get the best form each martial art...

  • xouxou35 you have to go to korea to get your seventh degree

  • normally, 7th degree(master) is only awarded by the ITF board of directors and not by any tests, so i dont see why this is a 7th degree exam. if it was, i dont think it is ITF approved.

  • is there self defence techniques in 7thdan test ?

  • @billysue2 That's exactly where i was trying to get

  • @arveloc when any tkd lad fights full contct they re kickboxing, generally piss poor kickboxing. If it was tkd theyd be using sine wave and techs from the forms, thats itf tkd, when a style fights differently to its fundamental movements its a joke.Any style with boxing fundamentals wont do well in mma and itf has none unless the individual coach had a background in it

  • @billysue2 Don't be 100% sure of that, look up OMAR DE LA CRUZ an Bellator MMA fighter. This is one of the many MMA fighters that started roots with ITF instead of Muay Thai or Kickboxing and he's getting better and better. ITF + Ju-Jutsu

The best combination's for MMA are striking + submission or grappling I'm not saying ITF is the best at strike but it sure gives u a 4D perspective when attacking or receiving an attack and that's a huge matter when fighting against other styles.

  • @electronikita fedor trains boxing and thai since sambo contains no striking and combat sambo uses boxing and other striking arts.Machida has trained full contact for 10 years now.Gsp hasnt done karate in well over a decade ,he trains thai at tristar academy for many years

  • @arveloc itf isnt full contact, has very weak hand work, doesnt use or defend leg kicks, why wouls anyone use it.If the tkd black belts had done thai from the start theyd be twice as good as they are now.Tkd has nothing to offer real fighters except the odd fancy kick

  • @sora8o8 yeah i know... :/ i misunderstood the post....he's breathing out with every move...hah i feel really dumb now

  • @Gymnasticspenguin96 dude, hes just breathing... or u can say its both h is uniform and breathing put the loud 1s are his breathing, a uniform dnt make that type of sound
