  • How much oil do you mix in the fuel? Maybe your putting too much. . . That bearing definitely sounds bad.

  • @TheTarrMan i run 25:1... because it has to move me(a load, unlike weedwackers) but it was a bearing... the third bearing that supports the crank shaft... its been replaced a while ago and now is smooth :)

  • On a four-stroke, this would be a bad thing. On a two-stroke, not so much. Just make sure you're using the proper fuel mixture and you should be OK; carbon buildup is a fact of life for two-stroke engines, unfortunately. To diagnose your noise, remove the clutch and then try; if the noise persists, you might want to tear that motor down and check your bearings to make sure none of them are burning or seized.
