@TugWax They are not responsive to triangulation? I'm not an expert I admit... I always believed that, if a series of parameters (bandwith, signal output, carrier identifier...) are known, it is possible to detect and pinpoint any electronic device generating an output signal. I thought navigation also sends back geospatial information about speed, course (vector) and time differences in order for the GPS system to adjust the theoretical position in real time.

Error at 0:23. Navigation systems are usually passive and do not reveal your position to anyone else.
