Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori speaks about her visit to the Diocese of Salisbury and the ministry of its cathedral, where she preached at two services July 13 in the company of the bishops of the Episcopal Church of the Sudan. She describes the Sudanese as remarkable examples of the joy that is known in Christianity in incredibly hard circumstances.

  • Silly lady, she's not a Bishop.

  • @singapore7773 She doesn't. :) She dresses like a Bishop. Are you familiar with Episcopal Liturgical wear for catholic churches? She wears the vestments appropriate for her rank.

I hope that clears your confusion up. If you have any further questions, I'm sure your local Episcopal/Anglican, or other catholic church could happily explain the concept of vestments and Bishops to you.

God's Peace be with you always.

  • @singapore7773 How does she dress like a man? LOL

  • Why does she dress like a man?
