When 12-year-old Hunter Gawlik learned he had a conflict that would make it impossible for him to participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge at Miller Park Lake in Bloomington, Illinois, he came up with an alternate plunge to benefit Special Olympics Illinois. On Jan. 19, 2013, Hunter was pelted by more than 400 water balloons in front of his family's garage. With Hunter was his friend Evan Smith.
