We have been making stone veneer molds and developing new casting techniques for years. We are fortunate enough to have been taught by world re-known concrete chemist Edmund Rams. "Ed" was known around the globe for his ability to develop high quality concrete for Government infrastructure projects. Unfortunately Edmund has just passed away on September 25 2008. We Greatly appreciate Ed's guidance and education over the last 20 years and he will be greatly missed.

  • excelent demostrations, good loock!

  • Thanks for nice comment.

  • Which color did you mix with the cement to optai the base color? Did you use white or grey cement?

  • I used white cement, grey cement and off-white Natural Pozzolan. The base pigment is a mixture of orange, red and brown. Thanks for asking.

  • How well do the colours weather?

  • They pigment is very sturdy. We have tested out the pigments for over 5 years in extreme Las Vegas weather with no visible fading.

  • I liked your methods - and it saves more sandstone from being dragged out of the earth! I take it the pigment is brown iron oxide, in which case it will be very light stable and remain vibrant. Am actually going to try this method in some individual fascia castings and see how it goes. Thanks.
