Beeper Braids / Alternative to locs- BH4U

People usually do these braids in large sizes -- i guess mainly because it is very time consuming -- well...I had to go against the status quo for a second time -- even though the first time i vowed never to try it again. Anyways if you try it in this size ensure that you complete the perimeter of your hair first -- so that you can easily hold it up in a ponytail or something in case you don't get to finish it. Also, if you can't stand tight hair, then I don't think this is a style for you. It's also a great alternative to locs.
To refresh it all I do is twirl the plait. However, if you leave it for too long, then it may very well loc your own hair, esp. if you're constantly twirling it!

@kawaiikia302 moisturizing the scalp on a regular basis...when shampooing, focus on the scalp and let the soap water run thru the hair when rinsing it out..same for conditioning..focus on the scalp.

you know you dont have to braid it all the way down to the end before wrapping the hair around it. it'll prob be more flexible too. looks nice though. it'll last long!
