Heather Novak's New Film: A Tragic Nursery Rhyme.
This highly anticipated drama is a historical piece with a present day soundtrack, featuring the band Protest the Hero, on tour now and available for download on the popular video game Guitar Hero II. The movie takes the audience on the timeless battle between good and evil. After the death of her father at war, Kezia Becket must help her family survive in a small town where the most holy man is the most corrupt. Based loosely off of the executioner William Calcrafts last execution, this film will have you holding your breath until the credits roll. This is Heather Novaks fourth movie with Pop Rokk Productions. Some of her past films include producers like Christopher Coppola and Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan. Heather exclaims, I wanted to make this film because it was a challenge! How do you beautifully show a love story involving an executioner that a broad spectrum of people will want to watch with only a student budget? It became a balancing act, and I am very proud of it.
With breath taking locations, provided in part by Mill Race Village in Northville, Michigan, and the help of Ray Bradbury (author of Fahrenheit 451), this film will take you on a scenic journey with motion picture, still photography, and the art of music video.
