@Jospehporta Australia has more murders per capita than Japan. Every graph that I look at on several different websites prove it. Traveler's Digest listed Japan as one of the world's safest destinations. Oddly enough, I don't find Australia on any of the world's safest destinations lists.

Well, it depends how liberally you want to use the term "many"
I've never been to Japan but from what I've heard the problems of racism are quite bad, but are ingrained in their politics and culture.
On the other hand, in Australia the examples of racism you used were committed by a few morons. The media, politicians and most of Australia was outraged by their actions. they are a MINORITY
