Angel Pavement - Maybe Tomorrow (written by Tom Evans) 1969
Quality UK group from the late sixties.
One fine 5 piece band from York that have a lot of kudos with sixties music collectors. They recorded for "Morgan Blue Town" Morgan Studios and these songs have been put together nearly forty years later on a CD after a vinyl release previously a few years earlier. Many rate this band as a classic from that era and even though they are not that obscure it would be hard to know much about them unless you read old music magazines from the '68 to '70 period. If you peruse the liner notes you'll be happy to know that they were a solid touring band (6 months in Mexico in the late sixties) and nearly took up an option to tour the US West Coast. Tricky customers VIsas so that kippered that tour. "Maybe Tomorrow" is a cover version that needs no introduction.
