iamvicarious, i notice that he seem not happy singing this song, you were there, so, what is your observation regarding it? we love this song because he did so beautifully, way better than mariah, so it is now technically his, and every time we hear it, we remember him on idol season 7.

He was very happy to perform this. He commented that he & the band had worked it up to perform it when they were in the Philippines and he wondered if we would like to hear it? The response was overwhelming. :) It was all good.

It was very cool to see this live. This was the first time I had seen David perform outside of the Idol tour.  He definitely put on a great show! It was worth my 7 hour drive!

I was at this concert and to say it was EPIC is an understatement. He was in a great mood all night. He didnt have to sing this song it wasnt on the original set list. HE WANTED to do it because he wanted to reward a kick ass hardcore audience. I still cant wrap my head around how awesome this show was.

I think they sped it up enough that it fit in with the rock vibe of the concert. I would SO love to hear this at one of his concerts. He hits some major glory notes on this. Awesome song!

im glad he is singing this now in his tours, yes, he first sang it in local tv guesting here last month and also at his MOA Concert...David Cook is the best American Idol ever

He sings this song beautifully. It is fantastic. I'm sorry to hear that it is considered "pop" and therefore may not be good for him to sing it on tour. Stupid labels. I'm hoping to hear it more live.

I don't understand what you're saying. ". . . ladies do not like rock music much . . .". Are you serious? I don't know where you live, maybe that's true where you are. But here in the US, women like rock music as much as men do. In fact, there are only 2 kinds of music I listen to with very rare exceptions. Rock and classical. And rock wins out 90% of the time. Rock is AWESOME! Pop, IMO, is mostly crap. Not all of it, but lots of it. I love that DC rocks out on songs like this.

David was happy all night!!!! The audience was so appreciative and loving that he was giving us a treat. He made a joke after singing the song that showed he knows women like the song more than men. He knows EXACTLY what he is doing.
