I love the RAGE virus idea sooOoo much better than undead because its alot more PLAUSIBLE ... im a graduating VFX film student and im making a ZOMBIE short film real soon and i tell you what my damn zombies arent dead.. they have some kinda non-undead virus... so much better in my opinion ^_^

from 0.00 to 0.20: you hear some one slamming at your frontdoor
from 0.20 to 0.25 infected break your door down
from 0.25 to 0.40 you run trough your back door and into a backstreet while being chased down
from 0.40 to 1.23 you managed to hide behind something whilst the infected blindy run past you

For god's sake, quit correcting people when they call them zombies. Whether you want to admit it or not, this movie follows the same formula as any other zombie movie. It's a part of the zombie genre, therefore the "infected" will be commonly referred to as zombies. Like, who cares? Slow or fast, undead or infected by rage, they're all mindless killing machines. They're zombies. Maybe not to Danny Boyle, but they are to the majority of people, so stop trying to convince us otherwise.

Bottom line is, when I recommend a zombie film to someone, 28 Days Later definitely comes up. I'm not gonna go out of my way to please all those stubborn fanboys and call it an "Infected" movie. I mean, come on. Really? Just accept that not everyone shares the same view as you and move on. I respect the side that prefers to call them the infected, I can see where they're coming from, but it's the nitpicking that's annoying the hell out of me.
