I recorded their set from the radio, live. I listened to it religiously for at least 10 years, and these two songs were some of my favourites from the day.
It's so odd that the guitar isn't present until the end, but as a kid I never noticed. Hell, I was 14 and watching it on a b&w portable tv in a caravan in Wexford, what did I know?
Love to see a reunion Self Aid some day, that would be fucking magic.
Country needs it more than ever now, eh?

I met Padraig Meehan and Barry Brennan in Sligo back in 89. Padraig helped out a band from Louth I was in called Lifetide. I Love Hyperspace,bought in on cassette in Dublin,These tracks must be on the unreleased 2nd album.

haha thats mad the guitar just arrived in the mix at the very end of the 2nd song! padraig Meehan finally got his Big moment live! Our biggest gig ever and no fecking guitar in the mix :(
