MIT Pune Final Race Rally Mania AXLERATE 2010 Nitro RC/ Full Throttle Champions

This is the final race of Rally Mania 2010.
Rallymania is a competition conducted at MIT, Pune, during their annual SAE event called- Axlerate.

The competition involves building a R/C car around a Nitro Engine, as per a set of pre-defined rules. Our car was based on the Losi 8ight 2.0 platform.

The final race was on 20th February 2010.
We reached the finals after 2 qualifying sessions.
Our fastest time was 1min 01 seconds.
The second fastest car was 1min55seconds.
A series of knockout rounds were conducted between the top 8 teams; finally selecting the top 2. We knocked out our competition in the 2 knock-out sessions; to reach the finals.

IN THIS VIDEO-
In the video, halfway through the first lap, the race is restarted.
After the restart we manage to run 3 laps till the finish.
Beating the other finalist by almost 1 lap.
