Since this one was kinda funky; I chose a more Dorian approach. I also tried to make a better video...regardless, an improvisation competition is a great reason to jam on something. Though it's an even better reason to play my 27 fret ESP!

  • Hi ! Congratulations for your video !

I have a question : why do you say TB-14 for the bridge pickup ? I thought it was the TB-5...

  • @niahaa Thank you! The pickup is named the custom-5 because it uses an alnico V magnet, but it's model number is the TB-14. The TB-5 is the Custom with a ceramic magnet if I remember correctly. You can check the Duncan site for further info.

  • Hello there !

Nice solo and guitar. I ordered the very same model but in black finish for 2 months now, but they no longer have it. I'd like to know how is the red finish ? because there is one more left and my fingers are starting to burn :)

Would you be kind enough to send me sompe pictures of yours with light ?

    Thanks anyway, keep rockin' ;)

  • @jveuduson Thanks for your kind words. Unfortunately I do not have a camera, and do not have any pictures of my guitar. However you may be able to find quality pics on the esp forum, or an image search. This year's winter NAMM video from the esp booth can also be found on youtube. The finish on my guitar is of a nice quality, the flamed maple can be seen nicely through the gloss the finish. I must add though that when I am making music; the finish is the last thing on my mind.

  • im thinking of buying this one a few months now...im thinking of the black one.

how many "selections" of pickups does it have?

  • Thanks, you just sold me on this guitar. I wanted to see how the cleans were. Sexy, i'd say.

  • @CemetaryGatesML That's exactly one of the main reasons I'm about to buy this guitar, maybe two ;-D That and the fact that this things feels like a guitar worth three times the asking price.

  • @Jveuduson

I've got it in black version

    Again srry for my english

  • This is the only video on youtube in wich i see someone who have's the mh-327

    Srry for my english

  • @MusicRockGuitar imagine it this way...play a 22 fret guitar ( like a fender strat )

tell me how easy it is to hit the 22 fret, not very.

then try it on a 24 fret guitar, the 22nd fret is EASY to it but the 24th is now difficult.

step it up again, now with 27 frets the 24 is easy to hit, and the 22 is stupid easy to hit... on an SG its diffrent because of its design but try out my example on a strat style guitar...you will see why 27 frets are so handly even if you dont use them.
