GREENLAND YEAR ZERO is both a short documentary and cinematographic journey in a country presently facing some of the greatest changes in its history: political independence and autonomy from its former colonizer, Denmark, visible traces of climate changeand new oilfindings, that give birth to to dreams of considerable future profits.
The film experiments with layers of sound, landscape cinematography with stylistic renditions of everyday life in Greenland. It portrays the world of 4 Highschool students in the small town, Aasiaat, on Greenlands westcoast, wherejust a hundred miles offshore companies are drilling for oil . If the drills prove positive, the town aswell as the life conditions of the young students will change forever. Enjoy

Hi! I was wondering where I could watch the whole documentary? This was very interesting, I'd love to visit Greenland one day. I find it fascinating that it is isolated and unknown yet going through so many transformations. I look forward to watching the full documentary. :)
