This is a report on the issue that has been growing around Australia over the last 3 years or so where cold callers try to trick computer owners into believing they're calling because a PC is generating errors.

It's a scam that could cost you dearly. Once you PC is compromised, who knows what they could be up to.

I heard about these people. They usually use the names Global IT or Global PC Protection. Their old site's domain name expired and someone turned it into a site warning people about the scam.
