  • In advertising there are rules---some meant to be broken. In this case it's a terrific angle and creative solution to sell cars. What CPB did here is what I call "lingering advertising", a message that plays over and over again in your mind---adding extra value to the media buy. Shock is good if it has relevance and communicates why you need to give the VW serious consideration. With sales up 20% you can't argue. Great job CPB. - Bernard Sandoval
