Technical notes:
The cartoon animation was done in Toon Boom Studio 4.5
I used Adobe After Effects and Edited it together in Adobe Premiere.
This being a "pilot" episode, I had to create (or choose) everything other than Gramps. It took tons of time. Future episodes most likely wouldn't be more than three minutes.
One mistake I made involved Toon Boom. I made one continuous clip that was more than 7500 frames (30 FPS). From now on, I'll be doing many small clips. For some reason, the program can't keep the lipsync going right after about the 1000 frames. That makes it very difficult to add extraneous movements and have them be accurately placed.

@bowlingballout ya me too, the funny thing is 2 days before the jibjab year in review that happened and then the day of the review Senator Larry Craig's news about the scandal happened so they put it in the year afters year in review.
