Part nine (the conclusion) of Professor Chomsky's speech on U.S. foreign policy at the annual dinner of the Lehigh-Pocono Committee of Concern (LEPOCO).
Heh. You are probably correct. As for the journalists, most simply don't have a clue what Noam is talking about in his books. It's often not a matter of whether they agree or disagree with what Noam writes, which is rarely challenged due to the extensive documentations Noam brought to bear on his arguments (well, he doesn't make a lot of arguments for the quotations pretty much speak for themselves).
yeah, Noam probably got tired of hearing corporate journalists saying that he and radicals generally never offer any solutions; so he decided to make himself extra explicit by spelling out a few of the things that--as u say-- are implicit in his writings. Of course, these are all conservative proposals which highlight the self-imposed ignorance and propagandistic hypocrisy of corporate journalists
It's quite rare that Noam explicitly offers "advises" like this. I mean, these ideas are always implicit in his writings, in fact, these are the underlying assumptions as to how things should be done. But it's my first time see Noam doing it so directly, given his notable loath for giving advise.
