When You Say You Love Me *episode 5*

Nick & Jill:Woah
Nick:Kevin knocked him out.
I smiled a little when Nick said that.
I looked at Kevin's hand.
Jill:Nick, get some gauze and ointment.
Nick ran inside and I started laughing.
Kevin:What's so funny?
Jill:I never thought I'd ever see you knock someone out!
Kevin:Oh, geeze.
Nick ran back outside and handed me the stuff and ran back inside.
Jill:Thanks! Kevin, stop making a fist. It'll only make it worse.
Kevin:Did he hurt your arm when he grabbed you?
Jill:It's fine.
Kevin:He souldn't have grabbed your arm like that.
Jill:I guess he was just mad that I said I was going with you.
I finished wrapping his hand up and David had gotten up and went to his car and drove away.
Jill:Why would you protect someone you just met?
Kevin:You're a nice person and nice people should be stood up for.
Jill:Thank you.
We sat there on the lawn for a few minutes when the entire Jonas family came out to the front yard. That's when I noticed that I was holding Kevin's hand. Joe sat between us.
Joe:Nick told us what happened. That was awesome! I can't believe you knocked him out!
Joe looked at me.
Joe:Are you staying for dinner since you're still here?
Jill:No, I'm still going home.
Kevin:We'd better get going.
We got in the car and Kevin started it. Emily ran over to the car.
Emily:Can you give me a ride home?
I was looking at Kevin when Emily asked and I saw the look on his face. It seemed like he didn't want to give her a ride.
Jill:(thinking) Why wouldn't he want to give her a ride?
I kept thinking about it until after Kevin dropped Emily off.
Kevin:Thanks for taking care of my hand.
Jill:You're welcome.
For the rest of the ride, we didn't say anything.
He pulled up and stopped by the curb. He got out and came to my side and opened the car door.
Jill:Thanks.
Kevin:Are you going to be alright?
Jill:You mean because of David?
Kevin:I don't want you to get hurt going to your apartment.
Jill:I think I'll be okay.
Kevin:I'll walk you to your door.
We went inside and got in the elevator. I pushed the 7th floor button, and we stood there listening to the music. We walked to my door and I wished something would break the ice.
Jill:Well, I better go inside so-
Kevin:Goodnight-
Jill:and Goodbye.
Kevin:Goodnight. Not Goodbye.
Kevin smiled at me and walked to the elevator and went down. I walked into my apartment and went to the window. Kevin looked up and wove. I wove to him and he got in his car and drove home.
