As far as NASA being rich over disclosure, you are probably right.

However, NASA is controlled by the military and the intelligence services.

Even if there are no artifacts, most reasonable people will admit that Alan Sturm and George Leonard before him and many others have identified some areas of interest that warrant a closer look.

Based on past experience, I'll bet 100$ to SETI that the LRO will not give good images or will malfunction. If I'm right you give to MUFON.

Okay I understand where you're coming from with the "we don't know what we don't know" thing, but I have to go with the higher numbers.

Many things have to come into play:

1: Life to build a base

2:Life other than us nearby

3:Aliens probably need a reason to slap up a base.

4: We would probably see a little bit of evidence, and NASA wouldn't cover it because they would be filthy rich if they found something like that.

Do a little figuring, and it's highly unlikely.

You are hinting at the "can't prove a negative" argument, which is valid.

The trouble is that there is another fact which is this: We don't know what we don't know.

NASA affirms this reality with their simple mantra stated over and over, which is, "We won't know unless we go there".

I say the only thing that matters is evidence and I am rightly suspicious that there are major voids in the picture database of the moon.

You think 1pixel=500m is just dandy.

I say it is unacceptable.

So...what youre suggesting is there is an alien outpost on the dark side of the moon because weve never seen it? We've never seen the bottom of the ocean either, hell, maybe there's a few down there too! They've never examined the dirt under my house either, maybe there is a cave full of aliens right below me! Tell me your theory on what the purpose of this "alien moon base" is? You seem to be an interesting character.

The alien artifact question remains. Maybe you believed in the WMD also? Did you trust the Gulf of Tonkin story?

Few people have seen the back side of the moon. I haven't. You haven't.

So, we must rely on the government(s) for images. Its a bit naive to trust the military and NASA (who work hand in hand BTW on Clementine and Lunar Prospector and many many others.)

Because there are aliens, they try not to let us know, but i know there are because i was beamed there once. Were you there to, alienmoonbase? I know there were a couple more people with me on the ride.

Funny how we can image the tiny rovers, spirit and opportunity, but the lunar surface?

The apollo landing sites haven't been imaged properly. SELENE (JAXA) did an "ok" job and imaged the "halo" of the landing site of apollo 15.

Still, Clementin, ESA, Lunar prospector, JAXA, Chinese mission and next month the Indian lunar mission.

WHY NO DETAILED LUNAR IMAGES?
