A look at sports drinks and the nutritional value. Even athletes who use them may not know what sports drinks contain and the pros and cons of using them. We talked to some Michigan State University athletes about our findings.

  • @jmoon219. Over hydration? For none-sportsman, none-sport-supplement user, over hydration would be around 4-5 liters depending on diet.

    Drinking 3 litres of pure water a day is needed for the body, thirst means your body is calling for water.

  • My doctor told me to not only drink lots of water, but to drink it well beyond the call of thirst. I don't mind some water, but sheesh, there is such a thing as over hydration!
