Minnesota River Catfish

Chasing catfish on the Minnesota River with AnglerInsider ProStaff HogEyes and Lance Bainville. We didn't hook into any huge fish but certainly some good fighters. Had what felt like a 30-40lb+ flat on at 3am.....after a power run she came off. Flats came on small bullheads and the channels came on cut bait.

If you do use bullheads make sure you use a legal rigging harness. Not like you see at 1:40. It is illegal in MN to use a two hook harness like that UNLESS you have a blade and a bead above the hook. In this video its clearly not a blade and a bead. Not sure what it is....

@PureInsanityRacing ...this was from a couple of years ago but I believe there was a small blade in the string of 6-7 beads.

How do you hook the bullheads? Through the lips, tail, or back?
