New Zealand Little Penguin Rescue

A juvenile female penguin found near death on a Wellington beach has for the last three months been the face of Forest and Bird's "Places for Penguins" project. Koro the little blue penguin has fronted the campaign while recuperating from a vicious winter storm. Now she's well enough to go back to her own kind. Corinne Ambler looks back at Koro's rehabilitation and was there on Thursday afternoon when she was released.
