Mesmerizing, chilling! I saw the movie so many years ago in an old movie theater in my town. The sounds still resonate in my memory. Love the performance. Jaques is the new guitar hero!

When I first saw Paris, Texas I was amazed by the performance of Harry Dean Stanton as Travis. And also by the haunting guitar playing of Ry Cooder. My favorite movie and my absolute favorite piece of music played brilliantly by you. This is the piece I will have played at my funeral.

that was fantastic! I'm trying to learn some cooder style stuff at the moment and was just wondering you don't seem to mute/damp very much? or at least not that I can spot how do you do it?

@MRSOUL Hi, thanks for your comments. I don't damp the string behind the slide as I use the blues technique which rarely damp the strings. Jacques
