Tony Morris & Friends (with flutist Renata Green, percussionist James Fenner, and violinist Jennifer Bourianoff) perform in the East Wing of the White House for the third time on December 3, 2005, in a private performance for the State Department's Diplomatic Corps, as part of the holiday celebrations there.
The White House permitted us to bring a still photo camera, but they said, "No video cameras." But, our violinist's digital camera will take up to 60 seconds of video with sound, so that's what you see here.
This is not from any of our professional film or recording work, just a short little video/audio clip taken off the cuff with Jennifer's digital camera. The camera is good for still photos, but it's pretty grainy with video. Also, its built-in microphone doesn't handle the flute & violin's high frequencies well, and freaks out with loud music. Nevertheless, it's cool to have music video from inside the White House. The painting behind Renata Green and James Fenner is of President Millard Fillmore.
