This fight was ruled a draw. Tamura used a rope escape which is a point lost. Shamrock hit Tamura while grounded and Frank was not in a grounded position as well. That was illegal back then in Pancrase and that was also a penalty. At the end of the fight since both fighters lost points, the fight was ruled a draw.

@06livefast Your correct, quite the history there, the modernized "Jared" has become the standard of the names English translation, Irish, Hebrew, or otherwise, there's nothing wrong with a cultural name; this guy is not named Dick Thomas... or anything of that nature, and as far as other Asian names go Tamura Kiyoshi is fairly basic. The name Tamura, amongst many Japanese names were emphasized in historical Warrior culture, of Samurai clans; nearly every name has powerful history in Japan

Jared was the third son of Adam and Eve, and the father of "Enoch", who was mentioned to have "walked with god" in the Christian Bible. Jared was also the great great grandfather of Noah, from the famous tale of Noah's ark. You can argue over christianity being true or complete bullshit all you want, but man, that's a fucking interesting name.
