Norman Studio (November 07, 2008).
An architecture urban design project for City of Norman, Oklahoma. Project site is located in South-Western part of city between Interstate 35 (I-35) and West Lindsey Street.
This is a phase involving the senior students of 5th year, College of Architecture, University of Oklahoma in conceptualization of Master Plan. The comprehensive plan in Norman Studio is a well integrated architectural proposal that includes 9 different building types. Studio as whole is generating the master plan while each student is responsible to design one of the 9 buildings: 1.[Waylon J. Becker, Concert Hall], 2.[Matthew J. Duller, Recreational], 3.[Kathleen D. Edgar, Hotel], 4.[Candice L. Fleming, Apartments], 5.[Sean K. Jackson, Museum], 6.[Jennifer K. Mc Alister, Shopping Mall], 7.[Charles M. Ruark, Conference Center], 8.[Regina M. Savini, Movie Complex], and 9.[Marc A. Wright, Corporate Offices].
Dr. Khosrow Bozorgi, Professor of Architecture and Urban Design is teaching the studio and guiding the students through different phases of design.
