It tickles me quite a bit that it's tow plane appears to be another ultralight.

Correct me if I'm wrong, please. I'm assuming he's already a pilot, so this would be a check ride. Since it's a single place, he's just getting checked out while being PiC. Of course, if it's an ultralight, the rules might be different, anyway.

I'm not exactly up to speed on regs, as it is.
