  • He looked awfully distracted.

  • I think he's just cold and it's making him fidgety.

  • The cops also arrest people who weren't trying to be arrested, and weren't prepared for the consequences visited upon them by these laws. The people who enforce these laws should, in my opinion, be reminded at every opportunity how stupid and immoral this is.

They do have options, like joining Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP), even discretion about whether to arrest. If they can't take a little hollerin' well, tough titties.

  • Yeah, I definitely prefer the non-dickhead version of you. Why aren't you that guy all the time? Ok, so his protest was nothing but a self-destructive act.

And? Are you his caring guardian angel? Are you angry at him because he makes you feel sympathy for his stupid ass?

If you disagree with his methods, I'm sure he — and many of his supporters — would listen to what you have to say.

Personally, I don't think it's a terrible thing to make the cops feel bad about what they're doing.

  • Remember, his friends did do something to help him: they came from near and far to support his most cherished ideals. If you don't share those ideals, your advice on effective strategies is unlikely to be heeded.

So, what is your opinion, SILENT NATION? Should people be jailed for committing a crime against themselves, the crime of using marijuana? ميشا

  • Here's an idea: how about not alienating the very people who are trying to make a difference? If you're going to get prohibition overturned, you're not going to do it by the votes of pot smokers alone.

The fact that Andrew — or anyone else who, like me, doesn't face direct harm from prohibition — actually goes out and defends others is a very positive thing. It's called altruism by some, or just trying to make the world a better place. I proudly stand beside him.

    So I guess I'm a fag too.

  • SILENT NATION's comment, paraphrased:

"Ha ha, you were raped, I'm guessing. I find that amusing and do not sympathize at all. I am taking the time to tell you that you've wasted your time, and haven't gotten the attention of anyone, including me."

  • if we had 1000 people do something like this and had a website to go along i think the impact on the drug war would be huge... and with 100,000 people doing the same by not paying their taxes... ohh yeah!

  • This man is a hero!
