An Italian town's wall of division - 21 Jan 08

Italy may have contributed to more than its fair share of immigrants around the globe over the years, but it seems, these days, some Italians are becoming a little more choosey about the flow of people coming the other way.

The town of Cittadella in northern Italy has become the first place to declare which immigrants can live within its medieval walls.

Other towns could now follow suit.

Aljazeera is so bias...It says how cheap illegal migration has made Veneto rich....ahh not true, the reason immigrants flock to the Veneto is because it is already a rich region...the credit goes to Venetians and other Italians particularly southern Italians who built that region up in the 70's and 80's.
