You do need the full game. I was just trying the 1991 MOD on it, that's why I called it "demo" :)

Once I tried to race without any help and it was difficult, but even at this level I could realize that there was some help, specially in turns. The car turned by its own, trying to help me. Tha's why I said gp4 is easy. Well, let me correct: Easy if compared to GTR 2...

Oh, you're damn right. I hate that automatic steering help, but it was developed to assist keyboard players and make the game playable. With a proper steering wheel you can disable that function and you'll need a lot of skill to keep your pace up ;)

Nice mod, but unfortunately these gp4 mods don't change the game difficult and realism, I mean, gp4 is easy

@kicknetik I know you can the 2011 mod, but not the 1994 mod that I know of. It's simple to install. 1) Install GP4 2) Install Patch 9.6 3) Install decrypted GP4.exe 4) Install GPxPatch - set processor to 0 in GPxPatch 5) Set GP4.exe compatibility to Windows XP SP3 6) Run the game one time 7) Set resolution in f1graphics.cfg 8) Install ZAZ Tools. 9) Install PLUS track pack 10) Install 1991 Mod 11) Install 1994 track pack Sounds like a lot, but really it's not. It's about a 15 minute process.

@satpam1000 The first thing you need to do is do a clean install of GP4. Once you do that, download the 9.6 patch (version 1.02). Then install the decrypted (no DVD) exe. Then install GPxPatch. When you play the game, set compatibility to Windows XP SP3. In GPxPatch, it's also recommended you set the processor to 0 if you are running a dual core processor (the game doesn't work right when utilizing multi cores).

@mayituck I know you made this post 4 years ago, but you have no idea. Unfortunately, people look at GP4 out of the box and play with the default setup with driving aids on and just go "Ugh!"

Truth is, GP4 is one of the best F1 simulators ever made... right up there with GPL. Game is easy? That's because F1 cars are NOT that hard to drive! Just go talk to any F1 driver - they will tell you the cars drive like they are on rails.

It's not GP4. It's the ingenuity behind an F1 car.

hey... Em I've downloaded this game already yesterday, and everything normal, till I'm ready for practice.. But when the game come up, whole things were changed white... No color, whole of the track, cars, pit, were changed white... Can you help me??

is there a way to get GP4 with the 1991 mod pre-installed? no matter how much hours I waste there's always bugs and the physic doesn't seem to match no matter how I try.

The realism in this game is still just mind blowing! Nothing beats it!
