This performance is not new to YouTube - it has been generously shared by an Italian Connie Francis fan. But after recently obtaining my own copy of this great clip, I thought I'd have a little fun by adding some touches that aren't in the original. I also re-synchronized the voice to the image - and enhanced the sound and picture using computer software. As always, thanks for watching!

Connie featured this song on her 1962 album, "Do The Twist." (It was later re-released as "Dance Party.") The original liner notes are wonderful. Here's a portion: "There have been two huge explosions in American popular music in recent years - Connie Francis and The Twist. Both have shaken up this exciting area of music and left it gasping. Both have taken the country by storm. It was inevitable that Connie and The Twist get together. It had to happen. Just like hot fudge on vanilla ice cream or french fries with steak, these two BELONG together: America's number one singer and America's number one dance!"

  • I always thought, well as a kid, that this was one of her least inspired tunes, but then again I wasn't much of a "Twist" fan. I thought her talent was too great to be doing silly

tunes like this one - of course, in retrospect, It's wonderful to see this very rare clip and

I thank you for sharing it with all of us.

  • Connie is beautiful in black and white.Connie is beautiful in color.ok i'll say it,Connie always looks beautiful, even when she fell off her horse in her movie ''when the boys meet the girls''. i love Connie in high heels.high heels and her hairdo have to be two things she is famous for, among many more.Connie's best features have to be her beautiful eyes, her pretty lips, her auburn hair and her cute butt! i think i'm in love, but i know i'm not the only guy who loves Connie! twist,Connie, twist!
